We pray for the unaccompanied children still arriving at the Mexico – USA border. We thought the situation was easing as fewer children arrived. Now we realize that children are afraid of the conditions in the holding centers within the US.

We pray for the people of the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) near the particularly dangerous Nyiragongo volcano where much of it’s early warning system has been lost due to withdrawal of funding following complaints of corruption.
How long will the wicked
celebrate and be glad? (Ps. 94:3)
When the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of everyone who had been killed for speaking God’s message and telling about their faith. They shouted, “Master, you are holy and faithful! How long will it be before you judge and punish the people of this earth who killed us?” (Rev. 6:9-10)
Lord, as we read this list of countries every one sparks the thought of another country, another lack of justice and mercy – how long, O Lord, how long?
You are merciful, Lord!
You are kind and patient
and always loving.
You are good to everyone,
and you take care
of all your creation. (Ps. 145:8-9)
